John Irving

John Irving was appointed as CEO of Liverpool John Lennon Airport in March 2018. Prior to his appointment John was Chief Commercial Officer at Newcastle Airport for 3 years working on all commercial and airline aspects of the business. John is a qualified accountant and prior to working in the industry was the Finance Director at Newcastle United Football Club for 8 years, as part of that role John was also responsible for all business areas at the football club. John qualified as a Management Accountant during his time at Procter and Gamble in Newcastle.
