AirportsUK’s Sustainability Group brings together managers in relevant areas from across our member airports to discuss and take collective action on the sector’s commitment to Climate Change obligations and other issues.

The key issues we have identified for the coming years are climate change, noise in the wake of Covid, waste, and adaptation.

The AOA’s full engagement in this area is also addressed by our participation in (and part funding of) the cross-industry Sustainable Aviation (SA) coalition.

This group receives feedback via AirportsUK on SA’s work and shapes AirportsUK’s input to it.
