Bookings are now open for the Airport Operators Association (AOA) Annual Conference, Exhibition and Dinner & Awards Ceremony, this year taking place on 23-24 November, at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in London.
For the first time the AOA is partnering with BATA, BAR UK and the Royal Aeronautical Society to bring delegates a first-of-its-kind conference in the UK that promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Across the two days the country’s aviation industry will be brought together to discuss the key issues facing the sector in the years ahead. The Conference & Exhibition is targeted at airport, airline, aerospace and travel executives and managers, government officials and regulators, industry stakeholders and the media. A number of high-profile speakers have already been confirmed and we will reveal more on this in the coming weeks.
Held at the prestigious Hilton Metropole Hotel, Marble Arch, London, the conference will be moderated by renowned ITN news anchor and television presenter, Natasha Kaplinsky. Places can be booked by visiting the AOA website at www.airportsuk.org.
Darren Caplan, Chief Executive of the AOA, said:
“This year’s AOA Annual Conference – held for the first time with renowned industry trade associations BATA, BAR UK and the Royal Aeronautical Society – is shaping up to be the best and most exciting ever. With a new Government in place, and important decisions to be made on areas such as airport capacity, the UK’s future APD regime and how we can better make our country a more attractive destination for visitors, 2015 is destined to be a seminal year for the future of our sector. We have got some excellent speakers lined up, both from Westminster and across the aviation and travel industries, and we’re looking forward to two days of fascinating debate.”
