The Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, has today launched the UK’s biggest ever international tourism campaign, with airports very much a part. The ‘GREAT’ Campaign is being rolled out in cities around the world, encouraging visitors to the UK in this Diamond Jubilee and Olympic and Paralympic year. Airports across the country are rolling out the images associated with the campaign, showing their support.

Darren Caplan, Chief Executive of the Airport Operators Association, said:

‘The Culture Secretary has today launched the ‘GREAT’ campaign, enticing visitors to the UK in this fantastic Diamond Jubilee and Olympic and Paralympic year.

‘Airports are for the majority of visitors to the UK the first thing they see when they come in to the country. So I am delighted that airports across the UK are working with the Government to roll out this campaign in Arrivals Halls and at the UK Border, so that everyone in and visiting the UK can be part of what will surely be a GREAT year!’
