AirportsUK Welcomes Figures on Passenger Satisfaction with Airport Security

“AirportsUK welcomed today figures showing how passenger experience at airport security is improving.  Latest findings from the DfT have shown that last year 86% of customers were satisfied with the experience – with two thirds queuing for less than five minutes, and only 6% queuing for more than 15 minutes.  All of these figures are improvements on previous years.

An AirportsUK spokesperson said, “We are delighted with these findings, which are a result of hard work by airport security teams and significant capital investment by UK airports in cutting edge security technology.”
